In this five minutes, we are staying warm in Arizona. We hang out in Glendale during part of the winter. Unbelievable how cold it is in Texas! I lived there 52 years, and we never had multiple winter storms. It would snow a couple inches, melt by noon, and be done. Not this week!
So here’s some cheerful Rosy-Faced Lovebirds to warm up to. They are a wild colony in southern Arizona, having been introduced about 30 years ago. I saw a pair fly over the house last week, but they haven’t visited the feeder yet this year.
